FoES Spring Meeting - 2022
Being part of the Graduate School in Energy Systems (Forskarskola Energisystem), we attended the annual spring meeting that happened at Marstrands.
This year, Forskarskola Energisystem (FoES) Spring meeting happened on the 25th of April at Marstrand, Sweden. This is the first in-person meeting for FoES'20 batch with the rest of the FoES team. So, the purpose of the meeting is more towards getting to know each other and to network than following a traditional high-paced series of lectures.
After lunch, the meeting began with a bit of formal introduction. We then had a great lecture on the security of energy supply from André Månberger of Lund University. It was followed by a sort of Geo-cache event, and then later we concluded the day with dinner and a refreshing spa experience. The following day, we had a close chat with our seniors (FoES'18 PhD student batch) about their experience on FoES courses. We concluded the meeting with a guided tour of Carlsten's fortress. All in all, the meeting was quite refreshing!
